Fluidotherapy, also known as fluidized therapy, is a high-intensity heat modality that consists of a dry whirlpool of finely divided solid particles suspended in a heated air stream.
The machine delivers forced dry heated air to flow around and through small granulated particles. This causes the particles to stimulate the skin and tissue of an injured limb, such as a hand or foot. A buoyant environment is created by the heated air pockets as the airflow, with suspended particles, has a massaging effect on the injured body part.
